Excellent Service! I called TH Fireplaces as my gas fireplace would no longer stay lit. After checking with ATCO that it was not a gas issue, we hired TH to fix the problem. Aaron from TH arrived on time and was very professional and friendly. More importantly he was very thorough and perseverant. It was not easy to diagnose what was wrong but he tried one thing after another and would not give up. In the end he solved the puzzle and was able to repair the fireplace in a way that was much simpler than what other companies had suggested they would likely need to do (he was able to clear the existing gas line rather than replace it). He went above and beyond and we so appreciate his time and effort. We will refer TH to friends and family for sure!

Would recommend 100% I got quotes from three different companies. The first kept telling me how much experience he had and how difficult it would be to install a gas fireplace in our basement. In the end he promised to send a quote, which he never did. The second never came but had me taking pictures and measurements for days. He did eventually provide a quote but it was a couple of thousand dollars higher then TH Fireplaces. The guys from TH were awesome right from the start. They provided solutions were others only grumbled about problems and the installation guys were incredible. They were cheerful and had the fireplace installed in half a day. The city inspector arrived the next day and approved their work without a hitch. There was a broken ceramic log in the fireplace kit but TH were good on their word. They ordered a replacement and installed free of charge. We are thrilled with our new gas fireplace. Thanks!

AMAZING COMPANY 10 OUT OF 10!!!We had so much trouble with our Fireplace, a few months after we moved in, it wasn't working (moved in the summer so didn't realize right away) so we called some other place to fix it. Half way through they "discovered" it was one of those fireplaces on the news that was no good. They stopped everything and disconnected it. We had to go on a big troublesome hunt to find out why the builder put that bad fireplace in and finally ended up calling TH Fireplaces as they were the original installers.TH was amazing, they looked everything up for us, found out this one we had was NOT one of the bad ones and they came and cleaned it beautifully, fix it completely and certified it so that we were certain that it was not one of the bad fireplaces that needed to be ripped out and replaced. Like holy cow that would have cost us $5000!Amy was our technician and she was amazing, did an excellent job, was super quick, friendly and explained everything very nicely. The TH office set up an appointment for a prompt service call, sooner than we expected. The technician that came out was on time, did the troubleshooting and was able to repair it quickly. I had called around to multiple places and TH had the best quote for their check & clean service. We had issues with our fireplaces intermittently turning off and on.I was very impressed with the knowledge Aaron & Josiah had. They diagnosed the problem, replaced the problem parts and were very thorough with their cleaning (cleaned and painted the exterior, cleaned the glass, logs and entire inside of the fireplace). They explained the issues to me and recommended a welder for a broken piece of our grating. They even added a wire mesh underneath the logs that makes a cool "ember" look when our fireplace is on! Top-notch service at a reasonable price - would highly recommend!

I called for an service on an older fireplace that was having some intermittent issues with several user functions. I had another company out last year, but they were unable to fix the problems and in fact it was less functional after they left, but I didn't notice right away. TH sent out Amy to see if she could get it working and she was OUTSTANDING!!! Took apart the entire thing and quickly narrowed the problems down to individual solenoids and switches. She got every issue fixed and even gave me a lesson on how to use other features, I didn't know about. I can't believe how good it's working now, she did a thorough job and even came back when I was struggling to figure out one function. I highly recomend TH Fireplaces!!!

We went to TH in search of a gas insert for our existing wood fireplace. Jason was exceptionally helpful from the minute we walked in the door. He was very knowledgeable and didn't mind explaining things to us. We had been to a few other fireplace companies in Calgary prior to going to TH and knew right away that we would be purchasing from Jason from our first visit. TH carries a variety of brands (not the case at other retailers) and he had the technical knowledge to be able to quote our fireplace without a visit to our home (efficient and safe during COVID!)But it gets better...Upon install of our fireplace (that was scheduled and the trades arrived on time and without issue) it was discovered that there were significant issues with the existing gas lines in the home that not only were non-compliant with city codes, but that were also exceptionally dangerous. Jason (who also is a certified gas fitter - not just a sales man) and his fantastic gas fitter Ryan made it their mission to right all the wrongs in our house, ensure our safety and get us up and running as quick as their very busy schedules would allow. Over the course of three weeks Jason personally visited our house at least 4 times to ensure his team had the info they needed for a successful remediation, and his team was here 6 times to correct our issues. They shuffled schedules around as needed and produced the documentation we required. On top of it all their pricing was beyond fair and was amazing value for the service we received.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend TH or Jason and Ryan for a second. Excellent Service! I called TH Fireplaces as my gas fireplace would no longer stay lit. After checking with ATCO that it was not a gas issue, we hired TH to fix the problem. Aaron from TH arrived on time and was very professional and friendly. More importantly he was very thorough and perseverant. It was not easy to diagnose what was wrong but he tried one thing after another and would not give up. In the end he solved the puzzle and was able to repair the fireplace in a way that was much simpler than what other companies had suggested they would likely need to do (he was able to clear the existing gas line rather than replace it). He went above and beyond and we so appreciate his time and effort. We will refer TH to friends and family for sure!

Very impressed with exceptional service I received during odd times (Covid). Jason was very upfront and honest with products and ideas I had for a fireplace in my sunk in living room. I was wanting to keep the old brick surround for the new fireplace. Other companies had told me it was not possible. TH was willing to work with me and custom fit a full gas fire place instead of going the easy way and putting an insert in that would have left a way smaller fire box and a large steel surround to the brick.Jason communication throughout the process was excellent and the installers were very professional and hard workers.

We are super happy with our service from TH Fireplaces! We had been having issues on and off for months with our gas fireplace. We even had a different service company check it out last year (mid 2019), but it only temporarily fixed our issues, leaving the fireplace unreliable, which then became unusable in Dec 2019.Finally, after the super cold snap we decided to try a different company. Based off of the great google reviews, we gave TH Fireplaces a call, and they did not disappoint! The receptionist was great to deal with, and gave a reminder call the day before. On the day of, we got a 15 min call ahead from Aaron to let us know he was on his way. Aaron was fantastic! He was super detailed and thorough with his inspection. He was also great at explaining everything and answering all of our questions.Our fireplace issue was quickly resolved after determining it was a wall switch issue - something the other service company never mentioned.Aaron also did a thorough clean of the fireplace - vacuumed , dusted the grates and cleaned the glass (a service that is included in their standard service call).I highly recommend this company and will be calling back for future service calls!
